Response centre

Tunstall's response centres use a specially designed database system which enables Tunstall to monitor a variety of Tunstall (and other) alarms and sensors. Each alarm and sensor has its own unique coding so Tunstall's consultants generally know who and what has triggered an alarm.

 

Tunstall's clients provide the response centre with instructions on how to proceed in the event of an alarm being triggered, and a carer, designated responder, ambulance, police, fire or after hours GP will be called according to the situation.

 

Tunstall can also provide a daily check or reminder call if required. This service can provide that extra piece of mind for a carer or family when they have to travel away for a period of time.

 

Tunstall's telecare consultants are highly skilled in handling emergency situations, and manage each call with empathy and care.

 

Tunstall promotes monthly testing of telecare alarm units and pendants. This encourages clients to feel confident and at ease with using Tunstall's service.

 

Tunstall Australasia operates four emergency response centres in the Asia Pacific; Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Taiwan. Each response centre operates 24 hours, seven days a week, with the network providing business continuity and backup for each monitoring centre so you can be assured of being answered at all times.
