Connect+
 
This top of the range alarm offers a host of additional features that build upon those offered in the T400. The combination of contemporary design and market leading functionality results in an extremely reliable, flexible and future-proofed product that can support an ever widening range of health and social care needs. The gem pendant can be worn around the neck, on a clip or wrist strap and is water resistant. Working over 50 meters in range the pendant can also include an easy-press adapter for clients with dexterity concerns.
 
Key features of the Connect+ include:  
 
  • VoIP enabled; the Connect+ can interface with voice-over IP in place of analogue phone lines if necessary. It can also work over GSM mobile lines.
  • Critical Visits Management; enables an alert to be raised if a carer has not made and confirmed a scheduled visit to the client’s home
  • Message/Medication reminder facility; reminds the user about key information such as medication times, through the use of automatic reminders messages that require user confirmation for added peace of mind.
  • User recordable messages; allows messages to be recorded and used as fixed phrases for reassurance and/or reminders. For example, family members/carers could program a reminder using a voice that is familiar to the client, reminding them to stay warm during winter, or that it is time for lunch.
  • Automatic audible alerts; alerts the client to mains and telephone line failure/resumption with a visual or audible signal, rather than just beeping to signal an alert.
  • Ability to signal a “beep”; if the client is unable to speak but is conscious they can press their pendant to signal to the monitoring centre that they need assistance. For example, 1 beep for yes, 2 beeps for no. This helps to quickly establish what assistance the clients needs in situations where speech is difficult.

Tunstall T400 Alarm  

The Tunstall T400 alarm is very popular and has been the market leading product over the past few years, the T400 now represents the standard model offering telecare providers with a very simple to use telecare home alarm that is compatible with Tunstall’s large range of telecare sensors.

  • Periodic calls; an automatic test call can be set up to ensure the alarm is working to full capacity

After Hours GP available exclusive to Tunstall Healthcare

Tunstall, through our business relationship with Family Care Medical Services, are now able to offer clients in South East Queensland, West and North Sydney the option of after hour’s in-home GP visit. Any Tunstall client in these areas who has a GP subscribing to Family Care Medical Services can be bulk billed if they are:
  • Pensioners
  • Health care card holders
  • Veterans Affairs
  • Family Care Friendly Society members
  • Calling for a child under 16 years of age
Reports can be provided to OT’s
 
If you are an OT and you require status updates on your clients, including hospital visits, emergency assistance calls or just updates on the when the clients alarm has been installed please let us know. We are happy to provide you with this information if you need.
